Izzy Torres is originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and moved to Michigan to attend Central Michigan University. She currently lives in Michigan with her husband, Cameron, their Siberian husky, Rosco, and their one-eared cat, Georgie.
Izzy holds a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and is pursuing her goal of becoming an elementary school teacher while continuing her academic journey toward earning a Ph.D. A lifelong learner, she is passionate about education and enjoys helping others discover a love of learning.
When she's not working, studying, or advocating for animals, Izzy enjoys traveling, reading, crocheting, gardening, and soaking up the sunshine. In 2025 alone, she read an impressive 90 books. She jokingly describes many of her hobbies as "old lady activities," but embraces them wholeheartedly. Izzy also manages and runs her organization's social media pages, combining her creativity with her passion for connecting with others.
