Dr. Yerian grew up in rural Ohio, where spending time outdoors fostered an early appreciation for animals and their care. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age and was further developed through involvement in local 4-H and FFA organizations.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wilmington College before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. During veterinary school, she was actively involved in the wildlife medical clinic as both a team member and team leader. Throughout her clinical training, she developed a strong interest in small animal medicine, especially during her emergency and shelter medicine rotations. She enjoys the variety and problem-solving aspects of veterinary medicine and values building relationships with clients while helping pets live happy, healthy lives. Dr. Yerian is passionate about partnering with families to provide compassionate care and support through every stage of a pet’s life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Yerian continues to enjoy spending time outdoors. She also enjoys being involved in her community, and spending time with her two cats, Hex and Finch.
